My mother became very ill in 2005 and the children and Mary offered prayer and support that touched my mother in her last days in a way that was truly special. I was hooked after seeing their love for someone they had never met.

I am planning on making my first trip to Kenya in April of 2012, and can't wait to meet the children who have become such a huge part of my life. It is so humbling to see the needs in the world and to think that each of us can make an impact that will last a lifetime.

My long term vision is to help provide an opportunity for some of these children to become ambassadors for orphans in Kenya. In this way, we will not be just providing support for these children for a period of time, but instead creating leaders who can continue to make a change in Kenya forever.

Each of us has talents and gifts that we can use to make a difference. What are you doing with your talents to change the world?
