Our Mission

To reconcile children with their guardians and to provide a home for those without, as well as ensure that they lead a brighter future, by being responsible members of the society.

In 1996, I heard a call from the Lord that I could invite the children to stay in my home. Those days my family and I (5 of us) lived in a place called Bahati. Our home was a small single room.

I invited the first three boys I was ministering too to live with us shortly thereafter the call from the Lord. These three boys filled our home to a total of eight family members. Dining that first evening was challenging, we shared one loaf of bread for dinner. The following morning, I took the three boys to enroll in school. I promised to bring school fees later.

After a month, we were able to move to a bigger house in an estate. We were able to provide more housing for more children. What started out with three boys grew quickly to 26 children. All the while, these children would be reconciled with their guardians or parents.

Some of the children would still runaway for different reasons. There was one boy who ran away 15 times and every time he ran, I would seek him out and get him back home. Today, this boy is a young man who is a tour guide in Mombasa and having a serving heart.

In 1999, we were told to evacuate from our home due to the violence our children had made to the estate, so we moved to the village. The second year in the village in 2000, the owner still said he did not want the noise of the children, so she moved us away. We moved to the place where we are now, holding this home for 7 years.

I am a mother of many children but a biological mother to 4 children. My husband died when I was 24 years old and I have lived for 23 years as a widow. I do not feel like I am a widow because of the love that God has shown me by answering my prayers. Isaiah 54:5 says “…"For your husband is your Maker…”. I have gone through a lot of trials and tribulations but I can say that my soul is well with the saints. Even to bring my family together with the orphans, in the same house and sharing everything is by God’s grace. My family has been very supportive as well as our friends locally and internationally. We are so blessed to have so much love around us!
