Featured Gates of Hope Projects

The end goal for Gates of Hope in Nairobi, Kenya, is that the site would eventually be self-sustained through its own business ventures. Current opportunities include production and sale of corn maize, eggs, and jewelry. Although progress can at times be slow, we are putting all of our efforts into strategically planning how to make this goal a reality. 

Step One: Determine the order of needs and fund-raise for each project on a quarterly/bi-annual basis

Step Two: Implement funds in an order that is most efficient and effective to business development

Step Three: Sustain growth until self-sufficiency is reached

Our first project is to raise $50,000.00 to purchase the current home the children live in. After the home is purchased we will raise funds for the fences to protect the 2-acre property from thieves and other animals. 

When you make a donation, please specify that you would like your money to go toward the "housing project."  Our goal is to purchase the home by June 1, 2012.
